We are performing an hour and a half set (with intermission) for the Festival Concert Series at First United Methodist Church, 828 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron, MI 48060. Tickets are $12 (for adults in advance), $15 (for adults at the door), $5 (for students), and $30 (for the series – 3 concerts). ABOUT FOURTH AVENUE
Since 1993, this professional a cappella quartet has been entertaining audiences with concerts that feature a variety of familiar pop, rock, soul, R&B, gospel, and doo-wop favorites from different eras, as well as catchy original music performed with their unique high energy approach. Incredible harmony, audience participation, outrageous humor, and a fully choreographed stage show are all part of the musical extravaganza. They have shared the stage with such national acts as The Beach Boys, The Temptations, Styx, and Three Dog Night.

1st place and audience favorite at the 1996 Harmony Sweepstake Competition in Chicago.
1998 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award for Best Doo-Wop/R&B Song of the Year for their rendition of “In the Midnight Hour” on the CD entitled Fourth Avenue.
Invited to Ohio Governor’s mansion to perform for Jobs for Ohio Graduates ceremony.
Nominated for the 1999 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Variety Entertainer of the Year Award.
Chosen for Muse Machine Touring Roster and Greater Columbus Arts Council Artists-in-Schools Roster. Both highly selective programs bring professional artists into schools.
Selected as touring artist for Ohio Arts Council’s Fee Support Roster, a program providing federal funding to preferred Ohio touring artists.
2004 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award Nomination for Best Pop/Rock Cover Song of the Year for their rendition of “Fade to Grey” on their CD entitled Scrapbook.
Performed in the Netherlands for Holland America Cruise Line’s 130th Anniversary.
Featured in a regional television ad campaign for Safe Auto Insurance in 2003, 2004, and 2006.
Their CD, high energy harmony, was picked as one of the TOP 25 LOCAL CDs of 2007 by the Dayton Daily News.
Performed for Michigan’s Governor in 2008 and 2009.

Scott, our Artistic Director, composes many of the arrangements and originals we perform in Fourth Avenue. Lydia’s Lullabies is a heartfelt album of a Dad sharing his faith with his daughter that features two tracks sung by Fourth Avenue. Half of the proceeds benefit the Dayton Gospel Mission.
