Gary has a degree in Music Performance with a specialization in Vocal Pedagogy from Heidelberg College. Following graduation, he taught for Lima City Schools but soon realized that his true passion remained in performance. Leaving his teaching behind, he joined the full time touring group, The Marquees, performing music from the 50's and 60's. In his time with the group, he shared the stage with acts such as The Four Topps, Rick Springfield, Trace Adkins, Travis Tritt, Rascal Flatts, and Herman's Hermits. After four years of full time touring, The Marquees went to a more part time status and changed their name to The Legends. Gary's soaring tenor voice and extensive stage experience make him an excellent asset to Fourth Avenue.
